It is Monday May 4th, may the 4th be with you!!
So the governor is lifting some of the orders in place. Today’s DHEC update says our state has a total of 6,757 total COVID-19 cases and 283 deaths. In our county we have 55 confirmed cases and thankfully no deaths. I am going to be honest, I am terrified of stuff opening back up. I am going to stay home as much as I can. I understand that people need to get out, and I would not want to stop that. I just don’t want to be forced to, or any of my family to be forced to. I would really like it if everyone was able to maintain a choice.
I am still shocked by how busy Lowes is on a daily basis with everything shut down. I wonder what the rest of town will look like as everything starts to open back up. Great for our local businesses but scary for the spread of germs.
We tried the Walmart grocery order online and pick up this past weekend. It was great, we ordered on Friday, picked up Sunday at 5pm. There were several things missing, but several items we had ordered the larger size and they gave us two smaller and still only charged for the original. That means we actually got more than we paid for on some things. It was very nice that my husband, who typically does our shopping, didn’t have to go in the store.
